The Fight Pit goes down next Wednesday.
On Wednesday's NXT it was announced that the Fight Pit match between Tommaso Ciampa and Timothy Thatcher will take place on the January 20 episode of NXT. The bout was originally scheduled for New Year's Evil, but Thatcher was not medically cleared to compete.
The two men sat down with Wade Barrett on Wednesday's NXT, trading verbal blows ahead of their showdown next Wednesday.

Also scheduled for next Wednesday is the continuation of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic. One matchup will see Johnny Gargano team with Austin Theory to battle the duo of Kushida and Leon Ruff. Another matchup will pit Gran Metalik & Lince Dorado against Imperium
Plus, the Women's Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic will begin with Kacy Catanzaro & Kayden Carter vs. Mercedes Martinez & Toni Storm.
