Fox To Air College Football On Friday Nights, SmackDown Could Move To FS1 In September

SmackDown could move to FS1 in the fall.

FoxSports announced that Fox will air college football games on Friday nights beginning in the fall.

A schedule has not been announced, but the report from AP News notes that SmackDown could move to FS1 if games air on Fox in September.

SmackDown has moved to FS1 in the past for the MLB playoffs and the World Series.

SmackDown will move to the USA Network in October as their deal with Fox expires. WWE and USA Network signed a five-year deal that will bring the blue brand to USA beginning in October 2024.

SmackDown has aired on Fox since October 2019.

Fightful will provide more details on SmackDown potentially moving to FS1 for episodes in September when they are known.
