Gabe Kidd takes a shot at MJF.
On July 22nd, NJPW STRONG Openweight Champion Gabe Kidd took to Twitter/X and called out AEW International Champion MJF. He said that the former world champion could never touch him in the ring.

In another post, Kidd wrote that MJF never had a real scrap, and he offered to show him how to fight if he came to Nottingham.

It's unclear what prompted Kidd's message. MJF beat former NJPW star Will Ospreay to win the AEW International Championship on the July 17th episode of AEW Dynamite.
Kidd made a few appearances for AEW surrounding AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door, and he teamed up with Roderick Strong at the pay-per-view. It is not known when he will return to AEW.
Kidd is currently competing in the NJPW G1 Climax 34.
