Gangrel Helps Adam Copeland Retain TNT Championship Over Malakai Black At AEW Double Or Nothing

Adam Copeland went back to the future at AEW Double or Nothing 2024.

Adam Copeland faced Malakai Black in a violent Barbed Wire Cage Match to retain the TNT Title at AEW Double or Nothing 2024. However, he did so by tapping into his past and his time in The Brood.

The former Edge not only came out with a Brood entrance but the name of the faction was also on his video wall graphic and after Buddy Matthews and Brody King briefly teased joining up with Copeland toward the backend of the match, they would attack Cope, leading to "The Rated R Superstar" from a surprising source in the legendary Gangrel.

Gangrel appeared from under the ring and spit a red substance into the eyes of Brody King and Buddy Matthews, allowing Copeland to hit Malakai with a Spear and locking him into the Grindhouse (Crossface) with barbed wire wrapped around Black's eyes, leading to him passing out and Copeland retaining the championship.

Copeland was limping after the match as he dove off the top of the cage to put Malakai through a table. Fightful will continue to monitor any updates on Copeland's condition.
