GCW To Host 1st Annual Indie Wrestling Hall Of Fame On 1/22/22 In New York City

GCW wants to pay tribute to independent wrestling's past with the first-ever Hall of Fame Class.

On January 23, 2022, Game Changer Wrestling will debut inside the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City. GCW carries the rebel spirit of independent wrestling into the new year by hosting a show in one of the most historic venues in New York City, the Hammerstein Ballroom.

Perhaps best known for hosting ROH events and the two ECW One Night Stand of events in 2005 and 2006, next year the Hammerstein Ballroom will play host to names such as Allie Katch, Effy, and Nick Gage.

However, the night before they light up the Hammerstein, GCW, in association with Orange Crush, will be hosting the first-ever Independent Wrestling Hall of Fame and Gala on Saturday, October 22 from The Cutting Room in New York City.

New York is home to many who helped ignite the world of independent wrestling in the early 2000s such as Homicide, The Amazing Red, The S.A.T, and Low Ki. At this time, no inductees have been announced as of yet.

Fightful has regular results of GCW events and will provide more updates on the Hall of Fame as more updates are made available. Learn more about their debut show at the Hammerstein Ballroom at this link.
