Giovanni Vinci: If Apollo Crews Wants To Roll Me Up When I'm Not Ready, We Can Play That Way

Giovanni Vinci wasn't ready.

On the September 6th episode of WWE SmackDown, Giovanni Vinci made his re-debut and faced Apollo Crews. Crews rolled Vinci up almost immediately after the bell rang, so the match was over in a matter of seconds.

In a SmackDown Exclusive, Giovanni Vinci commented on his loss.

“Don’t even ask the question. I got a question for you. When is the last time you’ve seen a match get without the referee checking both competitors if they’re ready. I haven’t seen it either. So Apollo wants to come up behind me, clearly, I still have half my entrance gear on, and roll me up, if he wants to play that way, alright. We can play that way. We can play that way," Vinci said.

Prior to the September 6th episode of WWE SmackDown, Vinci had not wrestled since the April 22nd episode of WWE Raw, where he and Ludwig Kaiser lost to Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods.
