Glenn "Kane" Jacobs Discussing A Potential Return To WWE: "I Haven’t Ruled Out Making Special Appearances Every Now And Then"

Jacobs is not against the idea.

Last Thursday was election day for the city of Knox County, TN and it was up to the citizens to decide who was going to be the next mayor of their town and the candidates were Linda Haney who is representing the Democratic party and Glenn "Kane" Jacobs who is representing the Republican party. The polls closed at 8 P.M. EST on Thursday and early and absentee voting showed that Jacobs had a 2-1 lead over Haney and the Mayoral race was called early based on that information.

Glenn "Kane" Jacobs was officially declared the mayor of Knox County, TN after his year-long campaign. The former WWE World Heavyweight Champion has now traded in his red singlet for a suit and tie but during an interview with the Rolling Stone where he discussed all things politics and his road to winning the mayoral election, Jacobs stated that he is not against the idea of returning to WWE as long as it does not affect his term as mayor of Knox County.

"WWE is always going to be part of me and hopefully I’ll always be part of it. I haven’t ruled out making special appearances every now and then. My main priority is being mayor of course. [My role in the WWE] does bring a lot of attention to Knox County, so that’s cool. It’s just a matter of making sure everything I do — WWE or any other outside stuff — does not impact my role as mayor." He said.
