Goldberg's contract may be coming up, but he still feels as though he can wrestle.
Ahead of WWE Crown Jewel, the Hall of Famer spoke with Ring Rules and discussed his future between the ropes. Goldberg confirmed that following his bout with Bobby Lashley, he still has one more match remaining on his contract. After that, you never know what might happen. Here are his full remarks:
"I still feel as though I can wrestle. I still feel as though I can entertain. I have one more after this match, I have one more match on my contract and that's it. We'll see what happens. You never know."
In August 2020, Goldberg revealed that he was contracted with the WWE for the next two years, through 2022-2023, with two matches per year. Thus far in 2021, Goldberg has worked three matches; Drew McIntyre at the Royal Rumble, Bobby Lashley at SummerSlam, and Lashley again at Crown Jewel.
Goldberg won his match at Crown Jewel, exacting revenge on the All Mighty after the former WWE Champion laid his hands on Goldberg's son following their SummerSlam match.
