Grayson Waller and Austin Theory are in a championship mood.
On the May 3 episode of WWE SmackDown, Grayson Waller and Austin Theory defeated former champions The Street Profits (Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins) to retain the WWE Tag Team Championship.
In a SmackDown Exclusive, Byron Saxton interviewed Grayson Waller and Austin Theory following their win. Saxton presented Waller with his own shoe so he could do a Shoey.
Grayson Waller: Byron brought me his own personal shoe. You don’t wear socks with this? Wow. You want me to do a Shoey with this? Wow, you know what I think of this? This is disgusting, lad. You want me to drink out of your dirty shoe? You’re just like this French crowd, man. First of all, you stink. Have a shower. Second of all, you’re disgusting. [Pulls out a shoe] This is what we call a championship-level shoe. This shoe just went out there and beat the Street Profits. They want to talk about, they want the smoke? Well, they just got it, and what did they do? They lost.
Austin Theory: They lost, they sure did. But look where these titles are, Byron. The only place they’ve ever been, and that’s on A-Town Down Under. Look, what is it again? Oh yeah, we’re undefeated. So guess what we’re gonna do? We’re gonna go celebrate, and I think we owe you [points to Waller] a red wine.
GW: Hey, what about a croissant? A red wine and croissant. Byron, since we’re in a championship mood, you can’t come.
