Grayson Waller addresses the possibility of a UK WrestleMania.
Back at Money In The Bank 2023, John Cena made a surprise appearance at the event along with Grayson Waller where Cena lobbied for a WrestleMania in London. Waller meanwhile lobbied for a WrestleMania in Australia, being very much against having a WrestleMania in the UK.
During an interview with Bodyslam.net's Mark O'Brien, Grayson Waller was asked about a possible WrestleMania in London and if he would prefer a Sydney or Dublin WrestleMania.
"Yeah, I think I've made my thoughts very clear about what I think about England, and especially as an Australian, I guess being Irish is kind of similar. Like, I'm not a fan, and I think that guy was just doing everything he can to get re-elected. You know, that's a pretty cool thing. Hey, I'm going to bring WrestleMania to London, but I think he's very similar to John Cena. Sometimes they just say things. We're not going there. We're going to proper places where the wrestlers actually want to be."
Waller is currently scheduled to defend the WWE Tag Team Championships alongside Austin Theory on tonight's SmackDown, where they will face off with The Street Profits.
