Shingo Takagi will defend his NJPW King of Pro Wrestling Provisional Championship against Great-O-Khan on January 22 at NJPW The New Beginning in Nagoya. Ahead of the clash, the two men have picked their stipulations, which will be voted on by the fans.
Shingo has picked a Takagi style 30 count pinfall match where the first man to total of 30 counts wins. Great-O-Khan has selected a MMA bout with the added stipulation that Shingo's number one contendership for the IWGP World Heavyweight Title will be on the line. Shingo is set to challenge Kazuchika Okada for the title at NJPW The New Beginning in Osaka.
KOPW 2023 holder Shingo Takagi and Great-O-Khan were present at a special press conference on January 12, as both men presented stipulations for their bout on January 22 in Nagoya.
Shingo Takagi- Takagi style 30 count pinfall match- First to a total of 30 counts wins!
Great-O-Khan- Mixed Martial Arts Match- both competitors will be in gi- KO, TKO or submissions only! If Great-O-Khan’s stipulation wins, Takagi must put his IWGP World Heavyweight number one contendership on the line!
