The Worcester Screwjob?
Sheamus thought he had the WWE Intercontinental Championship won on Friday's WWE SmackDown when he believed GUNTHER tapped out in the main event. GUNTHER tapped the mat twice, but referee Jessika Carr waved it off.
GUNTHER made it to the ropes and would eventually win the bout after hitting Sheamus with a shillelagh while the referee wasn't looking.
Taking to social media, GUNTHER claims he never tapped out.
Obviously, no! https://t.co/ipQzaAOMBA

Sheamus obviously disagrees and he has the people on his side.

Carr has defended her decision as referee.
Nope and I had the best view. ---- https://t.co/VFrYQ2lYLM

I know you’re emotionally fired up right now, you and everyone knows (or should) that I’ll always call it down the middle and you can trust me. He didn’t tap.

Sheamus and GUNTHER will be on opposite sides of the ring again at WWE Extreme Rules when The Brawling Brutes (Sheamus, Ridge Holland, & Butch) face Imperium (GUNTHER, Ludwig Kaiser & Giovanni Vinci) in a Good Old Fashioned Donnybrook.
