Sami Zayn will get his crack at Gunther.
Sami Zayn and Gunther met face-to-face in the ring on the September 30th episode of WWE Raw and Gunther finally agreed to face Zayn after weeks of Zayn asking for the bout.
During their confrontation, Gunther said losing to Zayn was the biggest embarrassment of his career because he flew his family to WrestleMania XL and his father was ashamed to see him lose. It was different for Zayn because his family was used to seeing him lose.
Zayn said that Gunther ran after losing at WrestleMania XL and that he was now showing his dad that he was also a coward.
Gunther struck Zayn, and though Zayn briefly got the advantage, Gunther prevented a Helluva Kick with a sleeper followed by a powerbomb.
Gunther then agreed to give Zayn his match.

WWE announced that Gunther vs. Zayn will take place on the October 7th episode of WWE Raw.
