Guru Raaj is no longer listed on the active WWE roster on WWE.com
Amid recent WWE releases, another change occurred on the WWE website. Guru Raaj, a former WWE NXT Superstar who was brought on as part of a push to sign Indian talent and reach the Indian audience, was recently moved to the alumni section of WWE.com.
According to his profile on Cagematch, Raaj only had 20 matches under his belt and his last match took place on the November 22, 2022 episode of WWE NXT where he lost to SCRYPTS in under 2 minutes.
His most high-profile match came at the WWE Superstar Spectacle event in 2021 where he took on the then-NXT Champion Finn Balor in singles action during a show that was specifically tailored to the Indian audience.
An official statement on his WWE departure has not been released.
