Swerve Strickland has named Adam Page's opponent, but Hangman is playing his cards close to the vest.
As previously announced, "Hangman" Adam Page and Swerve Strickland will pick each other's opponents for the January 31 episode of AEW Dynamite. The two foes are targeting the AEW World Championship, and they are looking to gain momentum so they can earn the top spot on the rankings.
On the January 27 episode of AEW Collision, Swerve Strickland revealed that he picked Toa Liona as Page's opponent. This will be Liona's first singles match in AEW. Later in the show, Page responded to the news and stated that no rule required him to inform Swerve about his opponent. He then noted that Strickland would have to wait "the whole f'n show."
