New match added to AEW Dynamite debut.
On the latest episode of Road To AEW Dynamite, Tony Schiavone announced that Hangman Page and Pac will go one-on-one on Oct. 2 when AEW Dynamite premieres on TNT.
The two men were scheduled to clash at AEW Double or Nothing, but reported booking issues led to the match falling through. Instead, the match happened at Wrestle Gate Lions Spirit on May 18 in a bout that Page won via disqualification.
Following AEW All Out, Hangman and Pac got into a backstage confrontation during Hangman's media session. Pac was escorted away from the media scrum after throwing a water bottle at Hangman and stating that the real reason he returned to AEW was for revenge. The feud between Pac and Hangman dates back to the first AEW rally in January when Pac made a surprise appearance, getting in the face of Hangman.
Here's a look at what's scheduled for the Oct. 2 AEW Dynamite:
* The Elite (Kenny Omega & The Young Bucks) vs. Chris Jericho and Two Mystery Partners
* AEW Women's Championship: Nyla Rose vs. Riho
* MJF vs. Brandon Cutler
* Hangman Page vs. Pac
* Cody Rhodes vs. Sammy Guevara
* Jon Moxley appearance
Fightful will have live coverage of AEW Dynamite beginning at 8 p.m. ET on Oct. 2.
