After weeks, if not months of rumors, all-time great tag team The Hardys are back in WWE.
New Day revealed Matt and Jeff as the fourth team in a Raw Tag Team Championship ladder match. The two came out to their old theme, with Jeff Hardy in his old gear. Matt used his "delete" motion and traits, despite previous legal threats from Impact Wrestling.
After a brutal match that saw a psychotic Swanton through ladders from Jeff Hardy, Matt Hardy grabbed the Raw Tag Team Titles, winning the match.
The duo finished up with Ring of Honor Saturday night, dropping the ROH tag team titles to longtime rivals the Young Bucks. Matt and Jeff left Impact Wrestling earlier this year while still tag champions, although they offered to come back and drop the titles. Nonetheless, this is the most decorated four months of any tag team in American wrestling history.
The Hardys will obviously appear on the Raw brand moving forward, given their participation in the match.
As Fightful.com exclusively reported last week, WWE has also been interested in the OMEGA library.
