Heath Slater Makes Surprise Appearance At IMPACT Slammiversary

Heath Slater arrives in IMPACT Wrestling.

IMPACT promised recently released WWE superstars would show up at Slammiversary and they delivered with Heath Slater making a surprise appearance on the show. Slater, wearing a "Free Agent" shirt, jumped the guardrail and cut promo, saying he was ready to make an impact and would be coming after the IMPACT World Title.

Heath was confronted by Rohit Raju, who was taken out by Heath with a running Russian leg sweep.

Unfortunately, the segment was plagued with issues as the FITE TV feed went down just before Heath hit the ring and the microphones in the arena didn't provide good audio.

Later in the evening, Heath re-united with Rhino. The two were the first-ever SmackDown Tag Team Champions. The reunion was cut short as Scott D'Amore kicked Heath out of the build as he's still a free agent.

Slater was released by WWE on April 15 as part of the company-wide cutbacks during the COVID-19 pandemic. His non-compete clause expired at midnight on July 18. He released a promo video where he awoke from a jobber nightmare, which you can view by clicking here
