WWE 2K22 has now been out for over a week and people are beginning to find lost/deleted files within the game's database.
Multiple users on Reddit have discovered content from WWE 2K22 that ended up on the cutting room floor. The files, accessed by modders, have revealed that there was set to be a significant storyline within the MyRise mode that featured The Fiend and Dana Brooke. When piecing some of the discovered dialogue together, it appears that Dana Brooke was going to be possessed by The Fiend and turned into 'The Shiend'. There was also mention of an 'Elimination Chamber Of Horrors' match, which seemingly had The Fiend's puppets involved. The MyPlayer would be taken over by The Fiend as a part of the story, with General Manager Adam Pearce trying to rescue him. The evidence of this deleted story doesn't stop there, as character models of Mercy The Buzzard and Abby The Witch were found as well. A playable Firefly Funhouse arena was also discovered.

There was also set to be a storyline that featured Adam Cole, according to this Reddit post.
