Hikaru Shida says she heard the fans after her title win this time.
Shida defeated Toni Storm in the main event of the August 2 episode of AEW Dynamite to win the AEW Women's Championship. With the win, Shida became a two-time champion. She is technically the first two-time champion in AEW history. Storm previously won the Interim AEW Women's World Championship at AEW All Out 2022, and her reign was retroactively recognized as part of the main lineage, whereas Shida won the main championship twice.
In a tweet, Shida commented on her win. She thanked the fans for their support and noted that she couldn't do it without them. Shida also stated that she heard the fans this time.
I did it!! You all did it!! We did it together because I couldn’t do this without you guys! Thank you so much, I heard you this time --

Shida first won the title back at AEW Double or Nothing 2020. The show was held during the pandemic era, so her title win occurred in an empty arena. Shida finally got to win the gold in front of a live crowd on August 2.
