Hiroshi Tanahashi To Miss NJPW's Wrestling Dontaku Tour And Events Due To An Elbow Injury

New Japan will be without "The Ace" for the next tour.

On top of Hiroyoshi Tenzan missing the forthcoming Wrestling Dontaku tour and events, fellow former IWGP Heavyweight Champion Hiroshi Tanahashi will be miss the next tour as well. New Japan Pro Wrestling posted the news on their official English website and it read that Tanahashi is dealing with an elbow injury and he will not be on the Wrestling Dontaku tour which kick starts on April 13th or the Wrestling Dontaku events in May.

It is also noted that both Tenzan and Tanahashi are undergoing evaluation and rehabilitation and there is no return date as of this writing. 

"The Ace" was in action at various locations in the United States over the weekend as he competed at Revolution Pro Wrestling's show in New York and wrestled Zack Sabre Jr. for the RPW British Heavyweight Championship at Ring Of Honor and New Japan Pro Wrestling's G1 Supercard event at Madison Square Garden.
