Homicide Says He's Part Of The Last ROH Match Against The Briscoes

Homicide can be found all over the place in wrestling today, but he'll forever be linked to Ring of Honor.

Homicide is one of the most respected names in ROH history and was part of their first event in 2002, teaming with Boogalou as the Natural Born Sinners against The Boogy Nights (Mike Tobin & Danny Drake). He is also a former ROH World Champion and World Tag Team Champion.

With ROH going on hiatus for the first quarter of 2022, Homicide revealed that he's part of the last match in ROH.

"Ring of Honor, they did two tapings where I was the very last match because there was a rumor that they were done and going to a hiatus and would come back with a different look and everything. I was part of the last match, a four-man tag match and opposite the Briscoe Brothers [Mark & Jay Briscoe]. I did a match, gave them a hug, 'thank you for the memories,'" Homicide told Sam Roberts on NotSam Wrestling.

ROH will hold its Final Battle event on December 11, but has taped upcoming episodes of television.

When asked which promotion feels is his home, Homicide mentioned ROH, but replied, "I dearly love the National Wrestling Alliance. I really love those guys. I'm a producer and agent there. I'm like coach Joe Torre for the Yankees. I'm a big fan of the NWA back in the 80s. I studied and I'm like, 'I can't believe I'm a part of the NWA.' I had so many great memories there. TNA, I have so many great memories in TNA. IMPACT too. I feel like now, NWA is my baby. I like to help other crews. I just got into MLW, even though I was part of the originals. I'm part of the new squad with MLW and we'll see what happens with that. Ring of Honor, same, hopefully better than ever. IMPACT, I think I'm done with IMPACT. I want to pass the torch to my LAX guys."

Homicide not only serves as a producer for NWA, he is also active in the ring for the company.
