Hulk Hogan is hopeful for a return to his WWE family.
Prior to WWE legends'; Ric Flair & Hulk Hogan's event at the Seminole Hard Rock Tampa, the duo partook in a Q&A session with TMZ Sports. Hogan first made it clear that he hopes there is a time where he will be able to return to the WWE and change the story that he went out on initially.
"For me, I'd love to change that last story that was told with the Hulk Hogan career. I'd love to get back in the fold, get back on the inside and correct a lot of stuff". Hogan added. "It has to be the perfect timing for both sides. We're all on good terms, we're all working towards the same goal. So hopefully, I'll be able to be back with my wrestling family some day soon."
Ric Flair would then add that he would like to see Hogan back in the WWE and the two even joked about possibly getting in the ring together to have a match again. In the process, Flair did reveal that he was going to have another surgery come this July. Flair stated that when he had his health scare, Hogan was the second person who immediately came to support and be there for him while he was fighting for his life.
"When I was in the hospital, which you're aware of right? Michael Hayes was the first guy in the door who just lives 20 miles away. This guy (Hulk) was on a jet and was the second guy there". Flair adds that when his son was sick, he borrowed money from Hogan.
Hogan would add on that he has not met anyone tougher than Ric Flair and although the doctors said that Flair had a 5% chance of surviving the first surgery, Hogan never doubted Flair for a second.
"The funny part was that I hit the hospital and Ric was in pretty bad shape, out of it and the doctors were saying 'This guy is a miracle, he only had like a 5% chance of making it through the first surgery and I said: 'I don’’t think they know who they are talking about. 'Ive seen him (Ric) in worse shape than this. Ive seen him in worse shape at the Marriott bar, running around naked with his robe on."
Hogan does hope to one day return as mentioned above. Upon the RAW 25 special, there was speculation from fans regarding Hogan appearing on the show and WWE released a statement before the event, to make it clear that they were sticking to their word and Hogan would not be featured on WWE TV. "At this time, WWE remains committed to its decision".
