Indie Wrestler Decides Against Signing With IMPACT

Freelancing independent talent Travis 'Flip' Gordon has decided against signing with IMPACT Wrestling, according to a report in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

The high-flier was offered a per date deal, but the contract stipulated that IMPACT would control his outside bookings. IMPACT is going to start charging their own brokering fee on bookings, and most promoters won't pay that extra fee for IMPACT talent unless they are top names. Gordon has been getting 10-12 dates per month, a number that's been increasing, and those dates would shrivel up quickly under the new IMPACT practices.

Flip has also received interest and an offer from Ring of Honor.
