You may have heard this one before, but The Miz will take on Dean Ambrose this Sunday at a WWE pay-per-view.
Miz will defend his Intercontinental Championship against his longtime rival Dean Ambrose in Ambrose's contractually stipulated rematch. Miz defeated Ambrose at WWE Extreme Rules to recapture the title.
Heath Slater was given an opportunity at the title on this week's episode of WWE Monday Night Raw, with the winner moving on to defend against Ambrose at Sunday's WWE Great Balls of Fire show. Unfortunately for Slater, he wasn't able to get the job done, even though Miz split his pants during the match.
The match will serve as The Miz and Dean Ambrose's 8th televised one on one match in just over a year. Fightful.com will have full, live coverage of the WWE Great Balls of Fire, including a post-show podcast.
