It will be an inter-promotional dream match on the February 10 MLW Fusion.
MLW announced Lio Rush will defend his MLW Middleweight Championship against AAA Cruiserweight Champion Laredo Kid next Wednesday, February 10, on MLW Fusion in a title vs. title bout.
Laredo Kid issued the challenge last Wednesday.
New World Middleweight Champion Lio Rush just alerted MLW.com that he will make a statement on tonight’s FUSION regarding the much-discussed title vs. title interpromotional match.
Last week on FUSION, Laredo Kid called out Lio Rush, stating he wants the MLW title and is willing to put up his AAA World Cruiserweight Championship.
MLW officials have been in regular contact with AAA to frame out a deal to do the historic dream title fight… but Lio Rush has been evasive on whether he will put pen to paper on a contract.
On Wednesday's MLW Fusion, Lio gave his answer and was more than happy to accept as he is looking to collect more gold.
