Jack Evans Announces That He Won't Be Re-Signed By AEW, Contract Runs Out At The End Of April

Jack Evans is set to leave All Elite Wrestling.

In a new Twitter post today, AEW original Jack Evans announced that he is not going to be re-signed by the company when his contract runs out at the end of this month (April). Evans joins Cody Rhodes, Brandi Rhodes and Lio Rush as people who have departed from the company in recent months due to expiring contracts.

Evans (alongside his tag partner Angelico) were originals in the company, even competing at the company's first event, Double Or Nothing, in May 2019. They would lose to Best Friends (Trent and Chuck Taylor) at the event just days after Evans officially signed with the promotion.

Before AEW, Evans and Angelico were regulars in AAA, winning the AAA World Tag Team Championships on three occasions. Evans has also appeared in Lucha Underground, GCW, and The Crash.

Angelico's contract status is currently unknown. Fightful will update fans if that information becomes available.
