Live Coverage
- The show kicked off with Adam Pearce addressing the WWE Women's World Title picture with IYO SKY, Rhea Ripley, and Bianca Belair. All three women made their entrance and were given microphones. The announcement was that the title would be contested in a Triple Threat at WrestleMania. IYO hit Rhea and Bianca with a Springboard Dropkick after both women again ignored her in favor of their issues with Bianca becoming more aggressive towards Ripley and even being booed by the crowd in Minneapolis.
- Judgment Day was backstage. Finn Balor addressed Dominik Mysterio's participation in the upcoming WWE Intercontinental Title match at WrestleMania. Liv Morgan pitched it as a great thing because the match has two group members. Balor told Mysterio that people think he's weak, doesn't have the killer instinct, and is a loser. Balor, who had been speaking in a tone that implied he believes those things as well, spoke more upbeat and said Dom has a chance to prove everybody wrong tonight.
* WWE Women's Intercontinental Championship: Lyra Valkyria (c) def. Bayley
- Cathy Kelley interviewed Bert Kreischer backstage when he was stopped by American Made (Julius Creed, Brutus Creed, Chad Gable, and Ivy Nile). Gable apologized for not giving Bert the chance to see him wrestle tonight but offered to let him watch El Grande Americano. Bert said he was there to see someone else. Then, Alpha Academy (Otis, Maxxine Dupri, and Akira Tozawa) enters the frame, leading to Otis and Bert's shredding their shirts.
- Ludwig Kaiser promised to find a way on the WrestleMania card in an international exclusive promo
- Jackie Redmond interviewed AJ Styles. Karrion Kross interrupted and passionately told AJ that the locker room needed him to defeat Logan Paul at WrestleMania. AJ said that if Kross wants to see the more vicious side of him, they can fight next week.
* American Made (El Grande Americano, Julius Creed & Brutus Creed) def. LWO (Dragon Lee, Cruz Del Toro & Joaquin Wilde)
- A Gunther recap package showed him bloodying up Jimmy Uso last week.
- Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez are featured in an international exclusive promo. They run down their potential challengers at WWE WrestleMania and promise to leave Vegas while retaining the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship.
- Jey Uso comes down to the ring to confront Gunther. There's no celebratory attitude. Instead, he spoke passionately about explaining to his mother that he didn't defend his brother because he was afraid. He told Gunther that he was gonna pray for his family and himself because he's scared of the man he will become at WrestleMania, and he's no longer afraid of Gunther.
- A recap package shows the latest development between Paul Heyman, CM Punk, and Roman Reigns.
* WWE World Tag Team Championships: New Day (Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods) def. War Raiders (Erik & Ivar) (c) by DQ.
- Ivar used a chair on Kofi and then acted surprised when he was DQ'd. New Day got their revenge as Kofi absolutely waylaid Ivar with a chair, and they nearly Pillmanized Erik's neck. Tony Hinchcliffe was on commentary for that one.
- There was a Cody Rhodes and John Cena video package set to "Last of My Kind" by Shaboozey.
* Penta def. Dominik Mysterio
- Carlito jumped Penta from behind after the match. Bron Breakker came out to make the save but Speared everyone in the ring, including Penta. Finn Balor quickly took down Breakker and posed with the IC Title. However, Breakker quickly got back up and nearly Speared Finn, who took a powder.
- Paul Heyman is out for the closing segment.
The road to the main event of the first night of WrestleMania hit another pothole for Paul Heyman. While he initially came out to declare that he is loyal to both Roman Reigns and CM Punk, it wasn't long before Seth Rollins came out to berate Heyman, claiming Reigns doesn't care about him, and neither does Punk unless he can get something out of it. Rollins teased taking Heyman out of the equation right then and there before smacking him around. In a babyface move, Heyman defended himself, and that's when Rollins backed him into a corner, goading CM Punk to come out.
They brawled around the ring before Punk tried to Stomp Rollins on the steel stairs. Rollins was able to evade that, rolling in the ring in time to trap Punk and nail him with a Stomp. He then lined Heyman up for one but stopped short of hitting him, and as Heyman looked up at him in fear, Rollins informed Paul that he now owed him a favor as well.
