After months of buildups, secret messages, and hints on Monday Night Raw, former NXT Tag Team Champion Jason Jordan was revealed as the storyline son of Kurt Angle.
Jordan had been a part of the "American Alpha" tag team, which hadn't been used on television for the last several months. The duo captured the Smackdown Tag Team Championships last year after being drafted to the brand. The two hadn't tagged on television for several months, and Chad Gable had been participating in singles matches.
Jordan took to the ring and embraced his "father," while Corey Graves mentioned on commentary that he'd been friends with Jordan for years, and was a confidant in the star.
