Je'Von Evans is confident that he proved himself.
At NXT Heatwave, Je'Von Evans challenged Trick Williams for the NXT Championship in a four-way match that included Shawn Spears and Ethan Page. Page emerged victorious, but many fans were impressed with Evans' performance.
In a post on Twitter/X, NXT shared a clip in which Je'Von Evans commented on his loss.
"Obviously, I’m disappointed I wasn’t able to get the W and become the youngest champ, but the main thing I learned from the match is that I can hang with the big dogs. I’m able to complete with the top people here, and I’m able to beat ‘em, and one day, one day soon, you gonna have The Young O.G., the NXT Youngblood as NXT Champion," Evans said.
