Jeff Hardy Would Like To Retire CM Punk In His Final Match In WWE

Jeff Hardy wants to retire CM Punk in his own retirement match.

Jeff Hardy and Matt Hardy are currently very happy in TNA Wrestling where they are the current TNA World Tag Team Champions. Still, they have both said that they would like to end their careers in WWE. Recently, Jeff Hardy spoke to Tim Hann Rivera at the HOG Live for the Moment event. During the interview, Rivera asked Hardy how he would like to end his career.

In response, Hardy reiterated that he would like to end his career with a big match in WWE before being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. Jeff went on to say that he would like to face CM Punk in that match and potentially retire Punk as well.

"Ultimately, man, I'd like to do a really cool match in the WWE and do the Hall of Fame and all that stuff to really end it on the highest note possible. Because looking back at my career now, the history is just a glimpse, like a blink of an eye, when you achieve so much and then you're here at this point, older in life. So it'd really be special to have a killer match, maybe make CM Punk retire, and then, go into the Hall of Fame." he said.

Jeff Hardy and CM Punk feuded in 2009 over the World Heavyweight Championship. That rivalry also ended Jeff Hardy's time in WWE until 2017. Hardy and Punk were briefly in AEW together in 2022 where Jeff mentioned wanting to face CM Punk there as well. Read his comments here.
