Jim Ross Recording His Final Voiceover Session For AXS TV; Deal Expires At The End Of The Year

Jim Ross' time at AXS TV is coming to an end.

It was previously reported that Ross' contract with AXS TV would expire at the end of this year. Ross currently calls weekly television episodes for NJPW and live NJPW events in America for AXS. Ross was scheduled to call Wrestle Kingdom 13 on Jan. 4 for AXS, but WWE blocked the deal. His WWE contract reportedly expires at the end of March and WWE won't let him sign a new deal elsewhere until then. Previously, WWE allowed him to re-up with AXS at the end of 2017.
