Joe Hendry says it's a win-win.
NXT and TNA have been working together in recent weeks. TNA's Joe Hendry has been at the center of the crossover, as he has made multiple appearances on NXT.
Speaking with Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated, Joe Hendry commented on the response to his arrival in NXT.
“Did I think it was going to go well? Yes, I did. Did I think that was going to be WWE’s most-watched video on X for the year? No, I did not. People saw my real emotions, and that’s what wrestling is all about," Hendry said.
Hendry then shared his thoughts on the buzz surrounding his appearances in NXT and teased that he could appear on any wrestling show, so fans would have to keep watching.
“It’s been very rewarding and pleasantly surprising. I could appear on any wrestling show. You’ll just have to keep watching," Hendry said.
Hendry went on to state that the world was starting to see TNA's level of talent. He noted that the company was happy to work with WWE in a way that was beneficial for everybody.
“The world is waking up to the level of talent we have in TNA. We’re thrilled to work with WWE in a way that benefits everybody–NXT, TNA, and wrestling fans," Hendry said.
On the July 16th episode of WWE NXT, Joe Hendry said that he would be sticking around, as he liked the brand.
