Joey Janela To 'Jungle Boy' Jack Perry: F*ck You For Abandoning 'Tarzan Boy'

Joey Janela is upset that "Jungle Boy" Jack Perry has decided to stop using "Tarzan Boy" as his theme song.

Perry turned heel by attacking HOOK at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door. On the June 28 episode of AEW Dynamite, he explained his actions, and he noted that the fans had ruined "Tarzan Boy", so they would never hear it again. Perry had been using the classic Baltimora song as his theme song, dating back to his days alongside Luchasaurus in Jurassic Express, and it was very popular among the fans.

In a tweet, Joey Janela responded to the news by expressing some frustration that Perry was abandoning the song, which he called his greatest contribution to Jack's career and the business as a whole. Perry previously noted that using "Tarzan Boy" was Janela's idea during his time with AEW.

HOOK interrupted Perry's promo and chased him away, but the former AEW World Tag Team Champion narrowly escaped.

Back in 2019, Perry credited Janela with giving him an opportunity to succeed. Check out his comments here.
