John Cena is grateful for the opportunity to write the last chapter.
John Cena came to the ring at WWE Money in the Bank and shocked fans by announcing that he would be retiring in 2025. Cena's retirement will come after a retirement tour that is set to span the year.
Cena took to Twitter/X on July 10 and commented on his announcement. He noted that WWE and fans have allowed him to be a part of many special moments, and they had incredible history together. Cena wrote that he was so grateful to be invited back home so they could write the last chapter of this unforgettable ride.
Cena closed the message by saying that sunsets are often the most memorable experience, and he can’t wait to share this sunset with his family. He wrote that he would see everyone very soon.
