John Cena: I Don't Think My Ethos Changes Regardless Of What The Hill In Front Of Me Is To Climb

John Cena talks about motivation and what comes next for him in WWE.

Back at Elimination Chamber 2025, Cena would do something that many wrestling fans believed would never happen, as he turned heel and aligned himself with The Rock. Since then, Cena has spoken about why he turned, blaming fans for how they treated him in the past.

While speaking to Sports Illustrated in a recent interview, Cena was asked about how he stays motivated for what comes next so long into his professional wrestling career.

"I don't think my ethos changes regardless of what the hill in front of me is to climb, I think that's the fun of it... getting into a rhythm of familiarity is sometimes stifling for growth so man there is different hills in front of me every day. There's one in front of me has its own challenges and I'm just trying to do the best I can to climb the hill in front of me."

Cena was then asked what comes next for him in wrestling, with the 16 time world champion letting fans know to keep watching the show to find out what happens next.

"Anything I tell will be a spoiler to fans, so I'm just going to say, you gotta watch the show to see what happens."

Cena is currently scheduled for the upcoming edition of WWE Monday Night RAW on the road to WrestleMania 41.
