John Cena is a star in and out of the ring.
Ahead of his upcoming appearance on the March 6 episode of WWE Raw, Deadline is reporting that John Cena has been cast in a new comedy movie titled 'Grand Death Lotto' for Amazon Studios. Cena joins the cast that also includes Simi Liu (Shang-Chi, Barbie) and Awkwafina (Shang-Chi, Jumanji).
Paul Feig is set to direct the movie, while Rob Yescombe is set to write the film. Although the movie's release date is currently unknown, 'Grand Death Lotto' will stream exclusively on Amazon Prime Video upon its release.

Cena, who is featured on the WrestleMania 39 poster, has a busy 2023 ahead of him. The WWE legend is set to be in multiple films that will be released this year including 'Fast X', 'Coyote v. Acme, and 'Argylle'. In 2022, Cena got a boost in popularity in the world of acting because of his portrayal as 'Peacemaker' in the HBO Max series of the same name.
