The first trailer has been released for ‘Ricky Stanicky’, and you can see it in the video linked above.
The new film, which will premiere on Amazon Prime on March 7, 2024, stars John Cena, Zac Efron, William H. Macy, Anja Savcic, Andrew Santino, Lex Scott Davis, Jane Badler, and Jermaine Fowler.
Furthermore, the film is directed by Peter Farrelly and written by the likes of Jeffrey Bushell, Brian Jarvis, & Jim Freeman.
The synopsis from IMDb reads:
When three childhood best friends pull a prank gone wrong, they invent the imaginary Ricky Stanicky to get them out of trouble. Twenty years later, they still use the nonexistent Ricky as a handy alibi for their immature behavior.
Cena is currently on a press tour in Hollywood for another one of his upcoming films, 'Argylle'. That film, which also stars the likes of Henry Cavill and Samuel L. Jackson, will premiere in theaters on February 2.
