Johnny Gargano is back.
On the October 2 episode of WWE Raw, Tommaso Ciampa headlined the show as he challenged Gunther for the WWE Intercontinental Championship. Gunther ultimately scored the win, and Giovanni Vinci and Ludwig Kaiser attacked Ciampa after the bell. Johnny Gargano ran to the ring and made the save. In doing so, he appeared on RAW for the first time in months. He joined forces with Ciampa to take the fight to Kaiser and Vinci.

Gargano has been absent from WWE TV for quite some time. He last competed on Raw on May 15. Gargano has competed at some live events; he last wrestled on September 10. Ciampa and Gargano are former tag team partners; as DIY, they held the NXT Tag Team Championship.
