A grudge match has been booked for Wednesday's NXT.
NXT General Manager William Regal announced Johnny Gargano will take on Roderick Strong on the July 29 episode of NXT. The two men squared off in a triple threat qualifying match against Bronson Reed on last Wednesday's episode. Reed was victorious in the bout, advancing to NXT TakeOver XXX and the ladder match for the vacant NXT North American Title.
But things weren't over for Gargano and Strong as they continued to take shots at each other on social media over the last week, leading to Regal booking the match.
