Jon Moxley doesn't believe Chris Jericho wants the smoke.
Chris Jericho might be the AEW World Champion, but there is only one man in AEW who has yet to taste defeat in the promotion. Jon Moxley currently sports a 3-0-1 singles record, with his lone non-victory coming in the form of a television time limit draw against Pac. In the latest official AEW Power Rankings, Moxley was ranked second behind Pac.
Though Moxley has a legitimate claim at an AEW World Title shot, he believes Jericho isn't looking in his direction for a reason.
"Chris Jericho is a very smart man. One of the smartest guys in the business. That's why he's been at the top for so long. He's drifting towards being a legitimate greatest of all time. Jericho aint dumb. He aint gonna fuck with me," Moxley said in an interview with WKQX.
Moxley's record would stand at 5-0-1, but two of his victories were in Unsanctioned Lights Out matches, which did not count towards his win total.
Jericho is set to defend the AEW World Title against Scorpio Sky on Wednesday's episode of AEW Dynamite. Fightful will have live coverage of Dynamite beginning at 8 p.m. ET.
