Steve Maclin will challenge for the world title at IMPACT Rebellion.
At IMPACT No Surrender on February 24, Maclin defeated Heath, PCO, and Brian Myers to earn a shot at the world championship. Later in the show, Alexander defeated Rich Swann to retain the title at IMPACT No Surrender. Following the conclusion of No Surrender, IMPACT Wrestling announced that Alexander will defend the title against Maclin at IMPACT Rebellion on April 16.

Alexander is currently in his second reign with the championship. He won the gold by beating Moose at IMPACT Rebellion 2022. On January 4, Alexander broke the record for the longest world title reign in IMPACT history; he set the new mark at 257 days. He recently defended the title against Bully Ray at IMPACT Hard To Kill 2023. As of this writing, his reign is now up to 304 days and counting.
