Josh Alexander: I Don't Think There's A Better Match To Be Made For Potential Worlds Collide Event Than Me vs. Ethan Page

Josh Alexander teases a potential match against Ethan Page.

Josh Alexander and Ethan Page previously had a successful run as The North, and they had a lengthy reign as the IMPACT World Tag Team Champions. Page signed with AEW in 2021, and Alexander has gone to to become a world champion as a singles competitor. In 2024, Page has parted ways with AEW and signed with WWE. He won the NXT Championship at NXT Heatwave, and he has reigned supreme ever since.

Speaking on the Johnny I Pro Show, Josh Alexander shared his thoughts on Ethan Page's success in NXT.

"Super happy because I always knew it was possible. We tagged up as Monster Mafia, but we were both singles stars at different major independent promotions. We were both champions of AIW, AAW, stuff like that. We were kind of neck and neck, but two completely different wrestlers. I think that’s why, when we came together as a tag team, we complemented each other so well. But I always knew it was possible. It’s just, in wrestling, it’s like, when are you gonna get your shot? That opportunity might never come. You just gotta be ready when it comes. AEW, it obviously didn’t work out the way he wanted it to, but he shows up at NXT and boom, within six weeks, eight weeks, he’s NXT Champion. It’s amazing to see. I like seeing good things happen to good people," Alexander said.

Alexander was then asked whether he would be down for a potential match against Ethan Page. He made it clear that he would be interested in the possible bout. Alexander also said that it would be a fitting choice for a potential Worlds Collide show.

“Oh absolutely. Like I said, heart and soul of TNA, the standard of TNA, I’m gonna rep TNA all day long. If they want to do a Worlds Collide, TNA versus WWE, I don’t think there’s a better match to be made than me going in there, kicking his ass and taking that NXT Championship," Alexander said.

Alexander previously said that he did not see a reunion with Page. Check out his comments here.
