With Jon Moxley out of Bloodsport II, Josh Barnett had to go out and find a new opponent and got one in the form of Chris Dickinson.
Barnett announced that he will take on Chris Dickinson in the new main event for Bloodsport II, taking place in Atlantic City, New Jersey on September 14. The news comes a couple of weeks after the cancelation of the original main event, which was supposed to be Moxley vs. Barnett.
You said I, "...won't get anyone more real in the world than this", @DirtyDickinson.

OK. Let's see how "real" you can be until reality sets in, and I flatten your skull.
Bring it. I live for this. So me real.@GCWrestling_ #Bloodsport @FiteTV pic.twitter.com/aWN4dsFTgY
It was announced in late August that Moxley had a MRSA infection in his elbow and had to pull out of his AEW "All Out" bout against Kenny Omega on August 31 and eventually pulled out of Bloodsport II. Moxley will reportedly miss up to four weeks with the injury.
But even with the injury, Barnett did confirm that Bloodsport II would in fact move forward as scheduled. Already booked for the show are IMPACT star Killer Kross, MMA legend Ikuhisa "Minowaman" Minowa, former WWE star Santino Marella, and more. Matches also announced include Zachary Wentz vs. Anthony Henry, Matt Makowski vs. Rory Gulak and Alliysin Kay vs. Nicole Savoy. Fightful spoke with Kay about being on the Bloodsport II card and you can read all about it at this link.
