Julia Hart talks Jade Cargill's AEW exit.
Julia Hart is looking to become the third AEW TBS Champion in history by defeating Kris Statlander at AEW WrestleDream on Sunday, October 1. In the process, she hopes to prove to be someone who can potentially step into the shoes that Jade Cargill was filling in the promotion.
In an interview with Rick Ucchino of CagesideSeats prior to the AEW WrestleDream event, Hart said she was looking forward to Cargill's future in WWE but sees herself as someone who is able to step into whatever role required by AEW and fill whatever shoes necessary.
"Yeah, I can’t wait to see what she’s doing. [Jade]’s amazing. She looks amazing. I just can’t wait to see what’s in store for her. But as AEW goes, like for me, if they want me to fill in some type of shoe, I’m all here for it. I’ll do whatever. I’m gonna come to work every week and they’re gonna tell me what to do and I’m gonna do it. So, if that’s what they’re telling me to do, that’s what I’m here for," Hart said.
Jade Cargill was the inaugural AEW TBS Champion and went undefeated for well over a year before losing the championship to Kris Statlander at AEW Double or Nothing. She would lose one more time to Statlander on the September 15 episode of AEW Rampage before joining WWE on September 26, 2023. Now is Julia's time to shine in her first singles match on an AEW pay-per-view event.
