Julia Hart On Women's Casino Gauntlet: I Think It's Great That We're Getting The Same Opportunities As The Men

Julia Hart stays ready.

The January 15 edition of AEW Dynamite, which is appropriately titled Maximum Carnage, will feature the first Women's Casino Gauntlet match in company history. As of publish time, Kris Statlander is the only confirmed entrant for the bout, as she will enter the match first.

Julia Hart isn't entirely confident that she'll be featured in the match, but that doesn't mean that she isn't ready just in case her name gets called. While speaking to Sports Illustrated for a new interview, Hart noted that she studied the Men's Casino Gauntlet match to prepare for the potential of being featured in the women's match.

"I think it's awesome. I was watching the men's match on Wednesday, just trying to study, just in case. How can I win this? Watching in that perspective of, 'okay, what works, and all the different things,' but I think it's great that we're getting the same opportunities as the men, because I think -- not to be biased -- but, the women's division is one of my favorite parts of wrestling."
