Karl Anderson wants singles gold.
Despite spending nearly eight years with WWE across two seperate runs, Karl Anderson has never held singles gold in WWE. Coming off of his reign with the NEVER Openweight Championship in NJPW, some fans expected 'The Machine Gun' to change that stat, but as of publish time, Anderson hasn't even challenged for a singles belt since returning to WWE in 2022.
On the latest edition of the Talk N' Shop podcast, Karl Anderson was asked when he plans to win a WWE singles title with Luke Gallows serving as his heater.
“When am I gonna add a WWE singles title to my collection? Listen, I’m trying here, I want one. I’ve been trying for one for a long time. I think a run with a singles title with the Big LG as my heater is something that, trust me, something that we’ve been pushing for a long time.”
