Karrion Kross & AOP (Akam & Rezar) returned to NXT on the April 9 episode of the program, attacking new NXT Tag Team Champions Axiom & Nathan Frazer.
Kross, Paul Ellering, & Scarlett came down the aisle while Akam & Rezar came through the crowd to attack Axiom & Frazer.

The Final Testament is currently part of WWE SmackDown, but the group has a long history in NXT.
Kross is a former two-time NXT Champion while AOP are former NXT Tag Team Champions. Kross hasn't competed on the brand since 2021 while AOP hasn't competed since 2018.
