Time's up for Santos Escobar.
For weeks, Karrion Kross has targeted NXT Cruiserweight Champion Santos Escobar. Next Wednesday, February 17, Kross will get his hands on Escobar as NXT General Manager William Regal made the match official at the request of Scarlett.
Escobar started the beef between the two men, poking fun at Kross not being able to defend the NXT Championship due to injury. Kross did not take those words lightly and the countdown to Escobar's demise began.
Kross won the NXT Championship at NXT TakeOver XXX by defeating Keith Lee. He has to relinquish the title on the subsequent episode of NXT due to a separated shoulder.
It was not stated if Escobar's NXT Cruiserweight Title would be on the line.
