Katana Chance and Kayden Carter have set their sights on the gold.
On the December 4 episode of WWE Raw, former NXT Women's Tag Team Champions Katana Chance and Kayden Carter beat Tegan Nox and Natalya. The victory marked their first televised win in a standard tag team match since the June 19 episode of WWE Raw. After the bell, they got into a confrontation with WWE Women's Tag Team Champions Chelsea Green and Piper Niven.
Speaking on Raw Talk, Katana Chance and Kayden Carter discussed their victory, and they were asked whether the win should put them in the title picture.
Kayden Carter: Absolutely. We were the longest-reigning NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions.
Katana Chance: That’s right, and hey, we may hit some stumbling blocks along the way, and we have definitely had our ups and downs, but we always get back up because that’s what champions do.
Kayden: Did you see Chelsea and Piper tonight?
Katana: They were so mad when we won. They’re not ready for us. They don’t want any more of this.
Kayden: Listen, Chelsea, get your pen and paper ready because you’re about to make the complaint of your life when we take those titles away from you.
Katana: They’re not ready for us.
As of this writing, there is no word on whether Chance and Carter have earned a title shot. Fightful will provide more information as it becomes available.
